Different journeys, same passion. From Freediving to Scuba, Xtended Range, Lifeguard and Mermaid — our trainers may come from different disciplines, but they all share the same love for the water.A special moment seeing them on stage, sharing real stories, experiences, and honest insights during our fireside chat.No one path. Just passion, dedication, and a community that grows together.#wearessi #ssismb #adex2026 #iamssipro #divelab #swimmovement #diveonesg #cuddlefishdivers #swimwerks ... See MoreSee Less

One passion. Many paths. We are humbled to share that our founder and Swim Teacher Instructor Trainer, Jeremy Tan, was a panelist at Asia Dive Expo 2026 for “Trainer Stories: One Passion, Many Paths.”From the very beginning, our mission has been simple, to never deprive anyone of a swim experience.Over time, that passion naturally grew into swim teaching, creating a pathway for anyone to explore teaching before committing to a full course. That is how iTRY teaching was born.Through iTRY, individuals get a chance to step into teaching and experience what it feels like to guide others in the water before deciding if this is the right path for them.Every lesson, every moment, every interaction, it all leads to something greater => growing the next generation of swim teachers. This moment reminds us how far passion can go, and how many lives it can shape along the way.#swimmovement #adex #ssi #swimteaching #itry ... Yes! We attended a Zoom seminar coupla years back by Professor Robyn Jorgensen from Griffith University in Australia who led this study/research. Her four-year project, "Early-Years Swimming: Adding Capital to Young Australians," surveyed parents of 7,000 children across Australia, New Zealand, and the US. The results showed that children who swam before age five were significantly ahead of their peers in several developmental areas:15 months ahead in understanding directions11 months ahead in oral expression6 months ahead in mathematical reasoning2 months ahead in reading skillsSwimming does more than build physical skills. It engages coordination, rhythm, and body awareness, all of which are connected to brain development.Movements in water require timing, control, and focus. These patterns activate areas of the brain linked to language, memory, and learning.Studies have found that children who swim early often show advanced readiness when they enter school, including stronger early reading and number skills. It is not just about safety. It is a form of early stimulation that supports how the brain processes and learns.Sometimes the advantage does not come from more study. It comes from how the brain is developed before learning even begins.#dailyzone #swimming #fblifestyle #learning #kids ... See MoreSee Less
